Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for players: how to move, how scoring works, what settings do, and what stays saved on your phone.

GAMEPLAY
Use the on-screen D-pad buttons: Up, Down, Left, and Right. The snake keeps moving automatically, so your job is timing. Immediate reverse movement is blocked because turning directly back into yourself would end the run unfairly fast.
Score starts at 0 and increases by 1 each time the snake eats corn. That is the whole scoring system: no bonuses, no coins, no confusing math. Your best run is about calm movement and clean turns.
The game ends when the snake touches the wall boundary or runs into itself. The Game Over screen shows your final score and a Restart button.
Yes. Press and hold the playable area to pause, then release to continue. It is useful when someone starts talking, a notification appears, or you just need a second to breathe. When you switch away from the app, gameplay pauses and shows Tap to Continue when you return.
SETTINGS
Only snake speed changes. Easy is relaxed, Normal is the default balance, and Hard is for sharper reactions. Board size, food behavior, collision rules, and controls stay the same.
Yes. Open Settings to turn sound and vibration on or off. These settings are saved locally on your device.
No. Corn Snake is locked to portrait mode so it does not disturb the phone's auto-rotation setting.
DATA AND SAVES
Yes. Best score is saved locally on your device. The app also keeps separate best scores for each difficulty.
Continue Game appears only when there is an unfinished saved game. Start New Game always begins a fresh run.
No. The Android app does not require an account. Scores and settings are stored on your device. If future versions include ads or services that require internet access, the privacy policy will be updated before release.
